Plot: An all-girls
school in the 1960s is about to merge with an all-boys school, prompting the
students to strike.
Review: When
you’re on a plane ride across the Atlantic Ocean, you end up watching movies
you normally wouldn’t. So I decided to check this teen chick flick from the
late 90s. And to be honest, it wasn’t all that bad. Sure, it’s girly for the
most part but it is fun. The cast which includes Kirsten Dunst, make you feel
like you’re in the setting it’s supposed to be.
The plot described in the film
actually only takes place near the end. The rest of the times it’s the students
trying to understand their place in the world. It’s a movie very much of it’s
time, which is both good and bad, depending what you are looking for.
