Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I said it before and I'll say it again, I love these lego games. They're just so creative with the way they use the characters. You get a whole bunch of abilities and tons of unlockables. I'm telling you, try one of these out and you'll love it. I'm getting pretty deep into Lego Batman. Unfortunately, the save is on my girlfriend's profile and only she gets all the story related achievements :( But I'll go back and do them all again eventually. Not like it's much of a problem since it's so fun.

Atomic Backbreaker - 20G - As Bane do the Backbreaker on Batman.
How fitting that this is a game achievement, since breaking Batman's back was also Bane's greatest achievement in the comics as well.

Eat floor... High fiber - 15G - Slam 20 goons into the floor with Batman
A great line from Batman Returns.

Smash Gordon - 20G - Defeat Commisioner Gordon with Harley Quinn's Hammer
Harley's got a big hammer, great for bashing in heads!!

Natural Habitat - 10G - Smash all street lights in Episode 1 Chapter 1
This one's kind of glitchy. I got it on the first try but my girlfriend couldn't get until she tried it story mode. Weird :S

Who needs curiosity? - 20G - Defeat Catwoman 9 times
Beat up Catwoman like she owes you money!

Boy Wonder - 10G - Perform 20 backflips in a row with Robin
Robin actually looks less gay in Lego form.

Start of something wonderful - 15G - Shock the Joker with the Joker
Remember that scene from Batman when the Joker shocks that dude and he catches on fire? It was pretty awesome!

0000001 00000011 - 20G - Build the giant LEGO Robot
This robot is pretty kick ass!

There and back - 10G - Destroy 10 objects in one Batarang throw
The batarang seems to have magical powers in this game since it can change direction mid flight.
Say hello to my little friends - 15G - Destroy 20 policemen with penguin bombers
I think Burgess Merideth played the best Penguin, sorry Danny Devito.

Down the rabbit hole - 20G -Use Mad Hatter's mind control to walk 5 enemies to their deaths
He doesn't look that bad here, but the Mad Hatter is one really creepy looking guy.

In the videogame universe, WW2 never ended!

As my friend always says, people have been making World War 2 games for longer then the war has lasted. While it was fun for a while, i'm getting a little tired of using M1 Garands and MP 40s. I'm glad Infinity Ward took a chance and made Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. Otherwise we would be reliving the Normandy invasion for the 600th time. A very important important part of our history, but I think it's time we moved on and looked at other important battles and wars. I'm excited to see what Treyarch will do with their next Call of Duty. I heard it was going to be in the Cold War, but that could mean a bunch of potential conflicts.

I would also like to note that despite being kiddie, I love the Lego games. You get to play with all these awesome characters in Lego form and its just a blast, from playing through the level to trying to find collectibles. If you can, get them. You can pick up Lego Indiana Jones for 5$, so it won't break your bank.

American Infantryman - 20G - Fought in the war as an American Infantryman
Story related

Battlefield Scavenger - 15G - Awarded for proficient use of enemy weaponry during a mission
Use a nazi weapon for a whole mission. Ze Germans!!!

Assault Trooper - 15G - Awarded for proficient use of assault weapons during a mission
Even easier, just use the assault rifle you start with during the whole mission.

Big Air - 25G - EXTREME! Found a big jump and caught some air!
It wasn't that big of a jump, but it was TOTALLY EXTREME DUDE!!! (not really)

Oh, I got a live one here! - 10G - Shock 30 people with Joker's hand buzzer
My girlfriend and I were shocking guys until we had enough studs to get True Hero. It was really fun!!! Damn these lego games for being awesome! P.S. My girlfriend discovered this, not me.

GTA! TLAD! Too many accronyms!!!

It's been over a week, sorry i've been lazy with my 360 love. I don't get much time in the week so I have to do most of my achievement hunting on the weekends. I finally finished off The Lost and Damned pack from GTA 4. At first I wasn't having that much fun, the controls are stiff and not nearly as good as Saints Row 2. But as time went by I was having more fun and getting more and more into the story and the next thing I knew the game was over. The last level was pretty epic. A recommendation for anyone who liked GTA 4. I started playing Call of Duty 3 as well. I figured i'd give it a try. I knew it wouldn't be as good as the Modern Warfare games, but it's a Call of Duty so I had to do it. So far not very exciting, run of the mill WW2 shooter. I'm excited to find out what the Canadian campaign is, we deserve to be recognized as kicking ass in WW2.

TLAD: Easy Rider - 100G - You have completed the story for 'The Lost and Damned'.
Starts off slow but by the end you'll be into the story of Johnny Klebbitz and The Lost MC

TLAD: Full Chat - 70G - Your backup are riding at their best!
You get a couple buddies that come help you when you call them. Everytime you complete a mission with them, their toughness goes up. Once they are both at 100% this achievement will unlock.

Basic Training - 5G - Completed the rigors of basic training.
I've had more rigourous trips to the mailbox!

Conservationist - 20G - Awarded for efficient use of ammunition
I really don't know what I did to deserve this, but thanks.

Still Ticking - 30G - Complete a mission with your body intact.
I almost died a couple times, but luckily I didn't.

Web of Garbage

Web of shadows is done, and I couldn't be happier. The story gets less and less logical, character don't at all act as they should and there is just a total disregard for the marvel universe. I could go back to get all the achievements, but I would much rather play something else and have more fun. Avoid if you can and play Spider-Man: Friend or Foe instead. It's childish, but much more fun.

Complete Story, Act Two - 50G - Act Two complete

Defeat Symbiote Wolverine - 20G - Symbiote Wolverine Defeated

Defeat Symbiote Black Cat - 20G - Symbiote Black Cat defeated

Defeat Symbiote Vulture - 20G - Symbiote Vulture Defeated

Defeat Symbiote Electro - 20G - Symbiote Electro defeated

Complete Web of Shadows - 75G - Game Complete
All of these are story achievements. It's a cool idea to see what various marvel characters would look like in symbiote form, but it's just so badly done in this game.

100 Hit Combo - Ownership - 25G - 100 Hit Combo "Ownership" executed
Later on spidey gets a combo where you punch a guy really fast like 30 times, so it's fairly easy to get this after that

Wall Combo Skill - 15G - Defeated 50 Enemies using only Wall Combos
Ground combos, air combos, wall combos, I just keep punching guys to get this.

Trampoline - 25G - 20 Enemies Web-Strike Bounced in succession
Kind of fun bouncing from guy to guy, kind of....

No Sweat - 50G - 1000 Enemies defeated
Eventually there's a bunch of zombie symbiotes (don't ask) and they go down faster then a 2 dollar whore, so this achievement get easy.

Mary Jane and Spider-Man - 20G - Mary Jane Conclusion achieved
One of the four possible endings. I thought I'd try to get them all, but then i played the game and yeah, I won't be doing that.

This is Electro!!??

So far so good. I've been able to keep this blog going for a month now, which is probably longer then most people expected me to keep it up. With all this school stuff to do i'm surprised I have any time at all to play. But I had a small session last night and a whole bunch of web of shadows 'cheevos popped up, so now is as good a time as any. The symbiotes finally showed up, so we can be done with the pointed gangster and robot fighting. Spider-Man is still annoying as hell, it's been a bad last few years for the character. Let's not even got started on how lame Electro is portrayed. It seems like someone has a grudge out for the Spider-Man universe and is systematically trying to destroy it.

Declawed - 15G - Wolverine defeated

Defeat Venom, Round Two - 20G - Defeated Venom twice

Grounded - 15G - Electro defeated

These three are all boss related story achievements. Electro's mask in this game is the ugliest i've ever seen the character wear, and we're talking about Electro here!!!

Defeat 500 Enemies - 35G - 500 Enemies defeated

I've beat up a LOT of guys during my playthroughs

Overkill - 20G - Performed all three types of attacks (Ground, Air, Wall) on a single enemy 10 times
Don't know how I did this, I'm not going to pretend I understand the combat system
