In this ninth installment of the Hellraiser franchise, two friends discover a
puzzle box in Mexico, which opens a gateway to Hell. Before long,
dermatological nightmare Pinhead has returned to make the lives of everyone in
his way miserable.
Review: They
really did save the worst for last. This movie is so bad there isn’t much to
say about it. I can’t believe I managed to make it through this entire series
with my wits. These movies are bad, but this one is by far the worst. It looks
like it was filmed at a producer’s home over a weekend. The plot is just
terrible. A lot of the material is a rip-off of the first one. Just don’t
bother. As much as you may want to complete the series, don’t. Hellworld, the
previous installment, brought some sort of dignity to the series and it could have
ended there. But no, they had to leave a sour taste in our mouth so that no one
would ever want another Hellraiser movie again.
